  Georgia is a Country which holds around 3 million people's nested between Russia and turkey which holds its parliamentary elections . the ruling party, Georgian dreams seeks for the forth term admist.


Georgia has followed pro-western path since they had got there independence from scovit unions in 1991, however in recent years Georgia has shifted towards pro-Russian stance,The party, founded by billionaire and former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, has accused Western nations of driving Georgia into a potential conflict with Russia.


Georgians are making a decision either to end the 12 years of increasingly authoritarian rule this election will decide their future path towards European union 


Georgia borders Russia, and the opposition accuses the ruling Georgian Dream party of shifting away from the West and back into Russia's orbit. Georgia's EU candidacy has been halted due to "democratic backsliding". "I voted for a new Georgia," declared pro-Western President Salome Zourabichvili. Saturday's vote has been dubbed the most important since Georgians declared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. There were reports of scuffles and voting infractions as tempers erupted at polling places.


Approximately 3.5 million Georgians can cast ballots until 16:00 GMT in this crucial election, which the administration defines as a question of peace or conflict but which the opposition is characterizing as a decision between Russia and Europe. Despite the widespread expectation that Georgian Dream will take precedence, four opposition parties think they can work together to overthrow it and bring Georgia's EU process back to life. This South Caucasus nation, which waged a five-day war with Russia in 2008, is reported to have four out of five voters in favor of joining the EU.
